PREMIUM CARBON EMISSION REDUCTIONS WITH THE HIGHEST INTEGRITY STANDARDS
Our projects generate emission reductions certified under Gold Standard and assessed under the Core Carbon Principles (CCP labeling) issued by the Integrity Council for Voluntary Carbon Markets.

VERIFIED. CERTIFIED.
INDEPENDENTLY ASSESSED.
Emission reductions from our cookstove programs are quantified using the highest-quality established carbon accounting methodologies and monitored throughout the project lifecycle. Independent validation and verification under Gold Standard for the Global Goals ensure that monitoring data, fuel savings, and emissions reductions are reviewed by accredited third-party auditors and the standards body before credits are issued.
CREDIT TYPES AVAILABLE
Impact Carbon offers high-integrity credits designed to meet both voluntary and emerging compliance market requirements.
CCP-Labeled Credits
Gold Standard certified and assessed under the Core Carbon Principles, providing the highest integrity option aligned with leading voluntary market standards.
Corresponding Adjustment (CA) Credits
Credits issued with host country authorization, ensuring emission reductions are not double counted and can be used toward international compliance frameworks, including CORSIA.
Pre CCP-Labeled Credits
Gold Standard certified, assessed, and issued prior to the advent of the Core Carbon Principles. Still providing a high-integrity option aligned with the leading voluntary market standards that were available at the time of issuance.
CCP-LABELED CREDITS
Our cookstove projects in Uganda and Nigeria issue credits carrying the CCP (Core Carbon Principles) label from the Integrity Council for the Voluntary Carbon Market (ICVCM), the independent body that sets the global integrity benchmark for the voluntary carbon market.
The CCP label signals that a credit was issued by a CCP-Eligible program, under a methodology ICVCM has assessed and approved against its ten Core Carbon Principles, and that it meets the specific quantification conditions attached to that approval, including conservative, model-derived estimates of non-renewable biomass and field-measured fuel savings.
WHAT CCP LABELING MEANS
The Integrity Council for the Voluntary Carbon Market assesses carbon crediting programs and credit methodologies against the Core Carbon Principles, a framework designed to strengthen trust and transparency across the voluntary carbon market. Only credits issued from CCP-Approved methodologies by CCP-Eligible programs, meeting all attached conditions, may carry the label. Among the principles:
Additionality
Emission reductions would not occur without carbon finance.
Robust quantification
Carbon accounting methodologies must be scientifically grounded and conservative, and for cookstoves, based on the most rigorous available measures of fuel use and non-renewable biomass.
No double counting
Each credit is issued once, tracked in a public registry, and retired against a single claim.
Permanence and risk management
Safeguards ensure that emission reductions represent durable climate outcomes.
Sustainable development contributions
Projects must deliver measurable benefits beyond carbon reduction, with safeguards for communities and the environment.
WHY CCP MATTERS FOR BUYERS
CCP set a global benchmark to ensure integrity in the voluntary carbon market.
GOVERNANCE
Effective governance

Transparency
Robust independent third-party validation and verification

CREDITS WITH CORRESPONDING ADJUSTMENTS (CAs)
Corresponding Adjustment (CA) credits are authorized by the host country under Article 6 of the Paris Agreement. This ensures the associated emission reductions are accounted for only once and are not double counted between national inventories and claims made by other countries or organizations.
Why it matters
Eligible for use under international compliance frameworks, including CORSIA.
Supports government and compliance-aligned climate commitments.
Provides confidence that emission reductions are internationally accounted for.
Impact Carbon's pipeline
Nigeria: Project receiving corresponding adjustments and CORSIA labeling.
Uganda: Letter of Approval (LoA) process underway with the Ministry of Water and Environment.
