Impact Carbon and JP Morgan Climate Care registered the first carbon financed cookstove project with the social impact and rigorous quality of the Voluntary Gold Standard.
Impact Carbon was formerly the Center for Entrepreneurship in International Health and Development at UC Berkeley. Impact Carbon now has independent nonprofit status but maintains close affiliation with UC Berkeley, and continues to work towards the same mission.
The School of Public Health at UC Berkeley features Impact Carbon’s work with Dr. Kirk Smith.
